Bye Bye War CD

At the Hague Appeal for Peace conference in 1999, over 10,000 people gathered from around the world to commit themselves to work for the abolition of war. A CD has been made of the music and voices from that conference. Now you can listen to these same songs and messages from artists and peacemakers. "Bye Bye War!" is filled with songs from Mos Def, Judy Collins, the Raging Grannies of Canada, the Sarajevo Drum Orchestra, and the South African Choir, and ends with the famous song, "Bye Bye War," by Peace Links of Sierra Leone. Hear from UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan, Nobel Peace Laureates Aung San Suu Kyi of Burma and Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa.
